Labourer charged after reportedly pointing firearm at woman during dispute

ST ANDREW, Jamaica— A man was arrested and charged with assault after he allegedly pointed a gun at a woman during a dispute on Kew Road in Kingston on Sunday, March 12.

Charged with illegal possession of firearm and assault at common law is 26-year-old Rondy Wisdom, a labourer of Kew Road in the parish.

Reports from the Half -Way -Tree police are that about 10:20 am, Wisdom and a woman had an argument during which Wisdom pointed a firearm in her direction. A report was made to the police and an investigation was launched.

Wisdom was later arrested and charged after he was interviewed in the presence of his attorney.

His court date has not been finalised.
