KINGSTON, Jamaica – Portmore United lifted the Lynk Cup after defeating Cavalier FC 2-0 in the knockout football competition final at Sabina Park Friday night.
Chevaughn Walsh gave Portmore United the lead with an expert lob from outside the 18-yard box in the 35th minute.
National midfielder Lamar Walker made it 2-0 to Portmore in the 63rd minute with an easy tap-in after he latched on to a cleared effort off the Cavalier goal line.
