Saturday morning kick off for Jamaica-Canada Nations League game
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jamaica’s first leg Concacaf Nations League quarterfinal game against Canada will kick off at 10:30 am on Saturday.
The game, which was originally scheduled for 7:00 pm on Friday at the National Stadium in Kingston was postponed because of persistent rainfall due to a tropical system affecting the island.
Jamaica is currently under a flash-flood warning.
After inspecting the field at 7:00 pm on Friday , Concacaf officials had hoped for a 9:00 pm kick off but sustained rainfall forced the decision to postpone until the following morning.
The second leg takes place at BMO Field in Toronto, Canada on Tuesday at 7:30 pm.
