Spice earns 4th entry on Billboard with ‘Emancipated’
Dancehall Queen Spice has earned her fourth entry on the streaming and sales driven Billboard Reggae Albums chart.
‘Emancipated’, her second full length album and independently released project, sold 1,500 total units of consumption from sales and streaming in its first week of release. It entered the chart at number seven.
Last year, Spice entered and peaked at number six with the album ’10’, which was distributed by VP Records.
‘Emancipated’ was released August 26 via Stealth Music/Spice Official ENT. It has nine tracks.
Spice’s other Billboard entries are ‘So Mi Like it’ (EP) which stalked at number 14 in 2014, and the mixtape ‘Captured’ which opened at number one in 2018.
Over on the sales driven US Current Reggae Albums chart, ‘Emancipated’ debuts at number one with 653 in pure album sales.
