St Ann Police charge four suspected scammers
ST ANN, Jamaica—The police in St Ann are reporting that four men have been arrested and charged with possession of identity information following a joint police/military operation on Wednesday.
Three of the men are from Trelawny and the other from St Ann.
The Trelawny residents are Nicardo Dillion, otherwise called Skinner, a plumber of Clarks Town; 23-year-old Remar Brown, unemployed of Jackson Town; and Ricardo Parkes, unemployed of Clarks Town. The fourth man is 25-year-old Kemar Powell, unemployed of Exchange, St Ann.
A white Toyota Crown was also seized during the operation.
It is reported that between 5:00 am and 6:00 am, intelligence gathered led the joint police/military team to search an apartment complex located at Cecelia Street in Exchange, St Ann.
Police say three apartments were searched and the men found in possession of identity information.
They were apprehended and later charged.
Their court date is being finalised.
