WATCH: Manchester police engaged in divine worship amid crime wave
MANCHESTER, Jamaica — Police are congregated at the Faith Claim Ministries in Greenvale, Mandeville in an effort to seek divine intervention for the division which has recorded an increase in crimes including murders and robberies in recent months.
Head of the Manchester police Superintendent Shane McCalla and Assistant Commissioner of police in charge of Area Three (Manchester, Clarendon and St Elizabeth) Glenford Miller are among those in attendance at the church service on Sunday.
Recently, police and military teams have been deployed to Manchester to combat a surge in crime and target multiple suspects.
