‘We must give thanks for life’ says Justice Minister in Christmas message
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Justice Minister Delroy Chuck is urging Jamaicans to be thankful for life as they get ready to celebrate another Christmas.
In his brief season’s greetings on Sunday, the justice minister reminded the country that Christmas is a time of joy and giving and thus as the country readies to mark another December 25, the gift of life must be celebrated.
“Christmas is a time for joy and giving. But even as we celebrate, we must give thanks for life. On behalf of the team here at the Ministry of Justice, I wish you and your loved ones a joyous and heart-warming Christmas. May the spirit of Christmas bring peace, harmony and happiness to your home,” he said.
Jamaicans are today busy putting the final touches on their homes and making final preparations for Christmas Day, tomorrow.
