WATCH: EY’s Innovation Hub treats businesses to immersive experience

ST JAMES, Jamaica – Participants of the Ernst and Young (EY) Strategic Growth Forum Caribbean in Montego Bay last week were given an immersive digital experience at the event’s Innovation Hub which brought technology, science and business together in one ecosystem.

“It’s really a showcase of EY’s global technologies and provides an experience for clients coming and interacting with the various tools to understand what are some of the technologies that are out there that they could incorporate within their environment and how practically they could use some of this technology,” Indar Ramcharan, EY’s senior manager of business and technology consulting, told Observer Online.

Throughout two days of the four-day forum at the Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall, business executives were introduced to and interacted with innovative tools for a wide range of industries including manufacturing and healthcare.

The EY Strategic Growth Forum — typically held in Palm Springs, USA, for over 16 years — was being hosted in Jamaica for the first time and saw more than 200 participants from across the world converging in Jamaica’s second city to share insights, network, and set the foundation for future collaboration to fuel economic growth across the region.

It culminated with the coveted EY Entrepreneur of the Year Jamaica Awards Gala on Saturday.
