Today’s Horoscope – May 4

Happy birthday for Thursday, May 4, 2023. Emotions may be running high now, which could bring out the worst in folks or lead to poor decision-making. The best way to navigate the day is to approach matters in a straightforward, clear-cut manner and avoid any confusion or drama. If something feels off, now’s the time to listen to our gut. Maintaining healthy boundaries can be useful in keeping negativity at bay. Leaning on the support of loved ones or the tried-and-true people in our lives can also be helpful in handling the tension the current cosmic weather is bringing.

ARIES(March 21 to April 19): Someone may be giving you an uneasy feeling. You might be able to put your fears to rest with a conversation. If that’s not feasible, be patient. The truth will be revealed.

TAURUS (April 20 to May 20): Be mindful of people-pleasing. It’s OK not to be liked by everyone.

GEMINI(May 21 to June 20): There’s no need to take on more stuff than you can handle just to keep up with an image of productivity or achievement.

CANCER (June 21 to July 22): A potential romantic connection could be intriguing, but don’t get too carried away just yet. Meanwhile, if your confidence is wobbly, positive affirmations might help.

LEO (July 23 to Aug. 22): You may need to set boundaries with folks today. Focus more on caring for yourself.

VIRGO (Aug. 23 to Sept. 22): Get comfortable with asking for assistance. Communicate what you need; people will show up.

LIBRA (Sept. 23 to Oct. 22): You might not want to do much today. Sticking to a routine could help you save time and energy. It will also keep your work from piling up.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23 to Nov. 21): Don’t be too hasty with your decision-making, because the stakes are a little too high right now.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22 to Dec. 21): It may be time to move on from something (perhaps a relationship) that’s no longer good for you.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 to Jan. 19): It might feel like there’s a lot outside of your control. That’s OK. What are the things that you can actually change, fix or do?

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20 to Feb. 18): Don’t settle or sell yourself short. Know your worth.

PISCES (Feb. 19 to March 20): Try not to give too much attention to what others might think of you. Just keep doing what you do best.

FOR TODAY’S BIRTHDAY

Your emotions run very deep. You don’t take relationships lightly. For you, trust and security are vital to your connections. However, there are times when you may be too generous or giving toward others. It’s important for you to be honest with others about what you’re feeling, even if those feelings are negative or uncomfortable. Your relationships thrive when you’re able to be yourself, warts and all. You can get through just about any crisis or difficulty. This year, you can get far with the right people on your team. Choose carefully, though.

Birthdate of: Erin Andrews, sportscaster; Lance Bass, singer/television producer; Ruth Negga, actress.
