OVERALL leaders Harbour View stayed two points clear of Tivoli Gardens in the JFF Under-21 League after an 8-0 mauling of August Town at Harbour View on Tuesday.

In other games, Waterhouse defeated St George’s 3-1; Tivoli beat Sporting Central Academy 1-0; Humble Lions outscored Boys’ Town 3-2; Portmore United slammed Village 3-0, and Arnett Gardens beat Rivoli United, 2-0.

At Harbour View, Romario Campbell led the ‘Stars of the East’ with a hat-trick, while Donovan Edwards and Joel Nichols had a brace each and Elton Thompson one.

The win pushed the Harold Thomas-coached team to 38 points ahead of Tivoli, who stayed second in the standings.

Meanwhile Waterhouse, who lead the round with 12 points, are third overall with 33 points, with their only draw of the round coming against Harbour View last Friday.

Waterhouse’s defeat of St George’s means they are the only unbeaten team left in this round after five matches.

Darren Mattocks opened the scoring after 13 minutes and Conrad Whyte made it 2-0 on the half-hour.

Kenroy Roberts added the third after 72 minutes before Romeo Parked netted a consolation for the visitors nine minutes from time.

St Georges, who were third coming into this round of games, already have eight points from their five matches, one more than they accumulated the entire first round.

At the Elleston Wakeland Centre, Tremaine Stewart bagged a second-half hat-trick as visiting Portmore United eased past Village United with three unanswered goals.

Portmore are fourth overall with 32 points and third in the second-round table with 10.

At Collie Smith Complex, Humble Lion took a 3-0 lead against hosts Boys’ Town, with Roger Reid opening the scoring in the 39th minute.

Peter Morris headed in the second after 54 minutes and Francis Ebanks made it 3-0 with a well struck free-kick from a difficult angle in the 57th.

However, Rolando Thompson, pulled a goal back for the home team in the 63rd minute and although captain Kemar Watson fired home a spectacular volley in the 90th, it was a little too late for the hosts to salvage a result.

At Tony Spaulding Complex, goals from Michael Russell (39th) and Nicholos Anderson (84th) gave Arnett their victory against Rivoli.
