Angelina Jolie hints she may quit acting for her family

She is a dedicated mother of six children, an A-list actress and global humanitarian.

But Angelina Jolie says she might soon give up acting to spend more time with her family.

In an interview in the new issue of Vanity Fair, the actress says: ‘It is not the most important thing in my life.

‘It’s a fun job. It’s a luxury. But I don’t think I’ll do it much longer.’

Jolie, currently filming in Venice for her role as an Interpol agent opposite Johnny Depp in The Tourist, says the need to be with her family is behind her stance: ‘I have a happy home.’

She and Brad Pitt have six children, Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, Pax and Vivienne and Knox — three of whom (Maddox, Zahara and Pax) are adopted.

Jolie took time to describe her children’s developing personalities during the interview with the magazine.

She explained: “Mad’s [Maddox] a real intellectual, which I can take no credit for genetically. He’s great at school, great at history.

‘He feels like he could be a writer or travel the world and learn about places and things.

‘Zahara’s got an extraordinary voice and is just so elegant and well spoken. Shiloh’s hysterically funny, one of the goofiest, most playful people you’ll ever meet. Knox and Viv are classic boy and girl. She’s really female. And he’s really a little dude.’

And she said Shiloh, often seen in very boyish-looking clothes, is very much a tomboy.

‘She likes to dress like a boy. She wants to be a boy. So we had to cut her hair. She likes to wear boys’ everything. She thinks she’s one of the brothers.’

‘They’re kids now, and can play together, but they’re going to need a lot more talking in the middle of the night, like I did with my mom for hours. We want to make sure we don’t build a family so big that we don’t have absolutely enough time to raise them each really well.’

Fergie covers ‘humps’ in corset dress

She famously sang about them in the song of the same name. But it seems singer Fergie has come over all shy as she covered up her ‘humps’ with a mini-train which was attached to her monochrome corset dress.

Fergie wore the unusual look to Sunday night’s BET Awards in Los Angeles.

And her appearance with bandmates the Black Eyed Peas put paid to rumours — for now at least — of an impending split.

The glamorous singer looked relaxed and very much a part of the chart-topping band as they posed for photographers.

The 35-year-old singer seemed unruffled about online reports she was ready to leave the band following a clash with will.i.am.

Instead Fergie left it to her angry bandmate to speak out.

Will.i.am took to Twitter, saying: ‘Don’t believe gossip about Fergie leaving the group, (we are never breaking up) it’s all lies!!!’

Simon Cowell and Mezhgan Hussainy show their relationship is stronger than ever with tender display of affection

With them not having been seen together for more than a month, there were fears for the future for Simon Cowell and his fiancée might not be so rosy.

But last week the 50-year-old and Mezhgan Hussainy looked more in love than ever as they were captured in the middle of a clinch.

Cowell and Mezhgan kissed and cuddled on the balcony of London’s ExCeL centre as the music mogul took a break from The X Factor auditions on Friday.

With his arms firmly wrapped around 37-year-old make-up artist Mezhgan, Cowell looked happy and relaxed as he showered his fiancée with affection.

It is the first time the 50-year-old has been seen publicly kissing Mezhgan — apart from a brief affectionate peck on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno in March.

The couple first met when they worked together on American Idol.

Cowell chose the ever-romantic Valentine’s Day to pop the question to Mezhgan, giving her a £250,000 diamond engagement ring to seal the deal.
