Mel Gibson was ‘abusive’ to me too
Accuser: Violet Kowal, who has made a series of allegations about Mel Gibson

Mel Gibson was ‘abusive’ to me too

Second woman comes forward on Fox News

A woman who claims to have had a relationship with Mel Gibson has alleged that he was also ‘abusive’ towards her. Violet Kowal, 26, told Fox News that Gibson apparently became angry when their three-month-long relationship became public last year.

‘I was so scared of him. It was a huge emotional experience for me. I was close to going to the police but instead of that I went into hiding for a few weeks,’ she said. Kowal, who is Polish and a fitness model, said she first met the 54-year-old actor back in 2007 when he was married to wife Robyn, but it wasn’t until after his divorce that she began a relationship with him.

She also said she was unaware of Gibson’s relationship with 40-year-old Grigorieva, with whom he had a baby daughter, Lucia, last October. ‘He never talked about Oksana or the baby. It was like they weren’t in his life,’ said Kowal, who said she last saw Gibson for Thanksgiving November last year. Kowal said she has records of calls she received from Gibson’s home and mobile phone numbers as proof of the relationship, and added that Gibson was initially a ‘loving, caring person.’

Gibson previously denied having a relationship with Kowal, and his representative described the story as an ‘absurd fabrication.’ He is under pressure after Grigorieva claimed he punched her and hurt their baby, Lucia, now eight months old, in a drunken rage in January. Tapes of alleged conversations between the former couple have also been leaked over the Internet.

LeBron James prefers sand and surf in the Bahamas

You’d think LeBron James wouldn’t need more turquoise water and white sand, but this past weekend the famous basketball player left his new home of Miami Beach for the warm waves of the Bahamas.

The star athlete, 25, was spotted frolicking in the surf with his long-time girlfriend and high school sweetheart, Savannah Brinson, 23. He also enjoyed a stroll on the sand with her, with whom he has two children, LeBron James Jr, five, and Bryce Maximus James, aged three.

King James, as he has proclaimed himself, caused widespread public outrage earlier this month, by defecting from his hometown team, the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Miami Heat.

Fans were so furious with the player after he announced his decision on national TV, that they burnt replicas of his number 23 Cleveland Cavaliers shirt and hurled rocks at a 10-storey billboard featuring the star. The day after his revelation, LeBron was also booed as he arrived at the wedding of NBA player Carmelo Anthony, 26 and MTV host Lala Vasquez, 30.

The move could have something to do with the fact that James is expected to earn US$100million in wages alone. The family are certainly set to live in glamorous style in the Miami area since LeBron is allegedly buying a $49.5 million estate in the Sunshine State.

Who knew everyone’s favourite Friend could look so sexy?

Jennifer Aniston is known for her girl-next-door looks, but in a series of promotional shots for her new perfume line, the actress looks anything but.

Aniston looks sexy and stunning in black and white shots, showcasing her perfect body, naked except for a white skirt positioned low on her hips.

Her new fragrance is called Lolavie, which roughly translates to ‘laughing at life’. It will be launched on Wednesday at Harrods; where the perfume will be sold exclusively.

Aniston will make an appearance at the department store herself, signing bottles for customers in Harrods’ Georgian restaurant.

It’s the debut fragrance for Aniston, 41, who says she has been involved with every step of the development process over the past year and a half – from creating the scent to conceptualising the ads, which were shot at Aniston’s favourite holiday getaway spot, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Aniston says that her scent, which will cost £23 for the 30ml size and £36 for the 85ml, will smell ‘sexy and clean…floral but not too flowery.’

‘I am not a big perfume-y fragrance fan,’ she explains. ‘I want people to go “what is that?” You smell great!” But most of all, I wanted it to smell natural.’
