High fashion, a poolside moonlight vibe, great music, tons of Red Stripe Bold but fewer party patrons than anticipated were the highlights of Red Stripe Bold and Liquid’s Wet: The Moonglow.

The all-inclusive Birthday Party of ZJ Liquid was finally held Caymanas Golf Club Pool House on Friday night after been postponed twice in the last two months due to inclement weather.

The event was well-attended by celebrities of the dancehall including Aidonia and other members of the JOP family, Ce’Cile, TOK, Mr G, Coppershot Family, Toya, as well as Liquids fellow disc jocks and sound system selectors.

It was close to midnight when the Observer team arrived to an almost empty venue. However, if one was on the outside it was hard to tell as the selectors painted a picture of excitement through their music selections. Approximately an hour later came the sexy and skimpily dressed LIME ladies. Much to the delight of the male patrons, the ladies danced and gyrated seductively to the pulsating dancehall beat. It was then time for Miami based disc jock, DJ Dutty Dex. Originally from Montego Bay, the DJ lifted the party to another level as he projected the videos for the music he was playing on a big screen. The energetic selector said that he and Liquid go back a long way, and he felt honoured to play for his event that featured other sound systems and disc jocks including Coppershot, Renaissance, DJ Wayne and the Zip FM team.

The dawning of Saturday morning came with several more dozen party patrons who danced, drank and get wet throughout the remainder of Red Stripe Bold and ZJ Liquid Wet: The Moonglow Party.
