Legend beer makes its debut in 2026 Carnival Road March
Locally manufactured Legend Beer, which was introduced to the Jamaican public late last year, made its debut in this year’s Carnival Road March.
The brand sponsored the popular Yardmas Carnival, helping to fuel revellers on the road. Additionally, several viewing deck hot spots were located along the parade routes.
Across hotspots like TGI Fridays and Trafalgar Park, revellers, spectators and international visitors showed up in their numbers, turning every corner into a celebration of music, style and pure Caribbean energy.
Masqueraders shimmered in sequins and feathers as they made their way through the city, while the sidelines told their own story, friends linking up, drinks flowing and DJs keeping the pulse alive. Whether you were chipping down the road or posted on a deck with a cold one in hand, the vibe was the same: unforgettable, unapologetic and just the right kind of legendary.
The ingredients that make Carnival what it is known for aligns with Legend Beer.

“Legend really connects with high energy, the vibrancy and vibrancy that carnival represents. We really wanted to make an impact, and we did a lot of sampling today. This is really about getting the brand out there, so it can resonate with people,” Janek Shillingford, sponsorship manager at Wisynco, told Observer Online during the road march on Sunday.
Najiba brings the energy to the road in the “Starry Night” costume by Yardmas.
According to Shillingford, the overwhelming response to the brand was surprising.
“The beer is getting a lot more traction that we even thought we would get. We have to give thanks to the Jamaican people for that. Really and truly, it’s for Jamaican, the everyday people that you see,” he said.
Aindrea Sewell leans all the way into the sparkle as she takes in Road March 2026 at Trafalgar Park.
A Legend Beer truck was also a part of the procession during the road march, with several people seen gyrating and enjoying themselves to the musical delights engineered by DJs.
“For sure, no doubt, we’ll be involved in Carnival going forward,” Shillingford disclosed.
