Mxssivh sets sights on Live Fast via VP Records

MULTI-PLATINUM producer Mxssivh is stepping into a new chapter after contributing production to Drake’s Ran To Atlanta, featuring Future and Molly Santana.

The track debuted at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and had spent 19 weeks on the chart through the week of October 3, 2026.

That achievement adds to Mxssivh’s growth as a producer, with credits reaching across dancehall and hip hop.

He is now preparing to release Live Fast, his debut album as a producer via VP Records.

The upcoming project is set to feature some of dancehall’s leading voices, including 450, Valiant, Chronic Law, and Squash, alongside other artistes. The album will bring their distinct styles together over Mxssivh’s production, placing his work at the centre of the project.

Music was always a part of Mxssivh’s life, though he had imagined several different paths for himself as a child.

“I actually saw myself as a lawyer, video game developer, all kinds of stuff,” he said with a laugh.

“I knew I loved music, but I never knew this would be my career,” he added.

Mxssivh hails from the community of West Gate community in St James. He attended Heinz Simonitch and Hillel Academy. As a youngster, he said people described him as an introvert.

He has worked with many other artistes including Rude Jerms, Squash, Valiant, Stalk Ashley, Trippie Redd, and Skillibeng.

Mxssivh described his achievements as both surreal and humbling.

“It feels unreal, sometimes I don’t think I process it completely. I’m so focused on trying to be my best version of myself, but it’s a blessing! I couldn’t be more grateful,” he shared.

With Live Fast, Mxssivh is preparing to take another major step in his career, building on the momentum of his recent work and bringing a line-up of dancehall stars together on his debut producer album.
