GOOD To Go is the theme of the finale song in the LTM National Pantomime Pirate Jack, which begins its run at the Little Theatre on Boxing Day, December 26, with a 6:00 pm curtain as customary.

Pirate Jack, the producers say, is a fantasy of yesterday and today, featuring the adventures of Captain Jack, the last of the buccaneers, roaming the seas on what his 'Maddan Law' calls "a bruck-down ole ship". In her eyes, he's nothing but an "ole bruck-down pirate too" but there's more to Jack than that. For him, it's not over till it's over and so he goes on one more adventure which takes him into unexpected waters.

Making the journey with him is a disgruntled crew who have two years' wages due to them, a nagging mother-in-law, a rather strange wife and a daughter who is obsessed with singing. Their adventure leads them to a seaside community which is having challenges of its own. The meeting of the two groups leads to all kinds of further adventure.

The cast is led by Audley Green in the role of Pirate Jack, with the Sea Grape Beach community led by Mr Seaside, Kevin Halstead. Other familiar faces known to pantomime followers are Faith Bucknor, Doreen King, Jacqui Higgins, George Howard, Cadean Hall and others. Music is by Grub Cooper and movement by Kevin Moore of the NDTC.

The set which is rich with historical as well as contemporary touches, is by Michael Lorde, costumes Anya Gloudon-Nelson, lighting Michael 'Rufus' McDonald. The production is directed by Bobby Clarke and the book and lyrics are by Barbara Gloudon. Tickets for Pirate Jack are at the Little Theatre.
