13-y-o drowns in St Mary river

ST MARY, Jamaica — A 13-year-old boy is suspected to have drowned while out with family members at the Wag Water River in St Mary.
He has been identified by the police as Jermaine Bernard of a Belfield address in the parish.
Reports reaching OBSERVER ONLINE are that the incident occurred around 7:00 pm at the mouth of the river. It is said that Jermaine lost his balance and fell into the water.
He was rushed to the Annotto Bay Hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
