62-y-o pedestrian killed in hit-and-run
WESMORELAND, Jamaica — Authorities are investigating a deadly hit-and-run incident where a 62-year-old man was fatally struck by a motorcar in his community last night.
Police identified him as 62-year –old Clinton Kerr, otherwise called ‘Scottie’, of Egypt Gardens in Little London, Westmoreland.
The police said they received calls that Kerr, who was reportedly walking along the roadway, was hit by a car about 10:15 pm. The car did not stop.
The responding police officers assisted the victim to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
