Alleged orange thief held with gun in St Catherine
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — An alleged orange thief was yesterday arrested on a farm in Wakefield, Linstead and a firearm taken from him.
The man was allegedly on the farm stealing oranges, when he was accosted by security guards about 10:45 am.
A Glock pistol with a magazine containing three 9mm cartridges was reportedly taken from him.
The security guards then summoned the police and handed over the accused and the weapon to them.
His identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
