Caymanas residents protest over poor roads
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica – Scores of residents this morning blocked the road leading to the Caymanas Bay community in St Catherine over bad road conditions.
The angry residents claimed that for months they have been calling on the political representatives to address what they say is a long standing problem but to date nothing has been done.
“Is months now we calling on the powers that be to fix the road and address the water problem but the problem still remain. We want some help,” one of the resident told OBSERVER ONLINE.
The incident drew a large police contingent to the area.
