Clarendon man chops brothers to death
CLARENDON, Jamaica — Detectives from the Chapelton police are currently investigating the circumstances which led to two brothers being chopped to death in Pennant district, Chapelton, Clarendon yesterday.
Dead are 67-year-old Desmond McKenzie and 60-year-old Cecil Mckenzie, brothers who lived in the community.
Reports from the police are that the brothers and another relative, armed with knives and a firearm, allegedly attacked a man at his home in the area about 7:00 pm. The man reportedly used his machete to chop his three attackers.
The police were summoned and they were taken to the hospital where the brothers were pronounced dead and the other man admitted in stable condition.
