The deceased men have been identified as 33-year-old Fabian Allen, otherwise called ‘Invader’, a musician of Little London in the parish, and 70-year-old Leonard Nanco, a pensioner of Big Bridge, also in Westmoreland.
Reports from the Little London police are that about 2:30 pm, the two men were inside a shop when a silver Nissan Tiida drove up, and two men alighted and immediately opened gunfire, hitting them. The gunmen then escaped in the waiting motor car.
Both men were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.
Shortly after, acting on information, the police intercepted the Nissan Tiida on the Sandy Bay main road and nabbed two of the suspects. The operations continued, and the third man was picked up some time after.
The police say investigations are continuing.
