Cops seek help identifying man killed in St Catherine
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — The police said they are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man believed to be killed in the wee hours of Monday morning in Compound district, St Catherine.
His body is of dark complexion, medium build and about 5 feet 8 inches, the police said. He is also believed to be about 40-years-old. The man was reportedly clad in a khaki pants and black Adidas slippers.
Reports from the Central Village police are that about 12:15 am residents heard explosions and summoned them. The lawmen found the man lying on the ground with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at hospital.
The police say they are asking anyone who can assist in identifying the deceased to contact the Central Village police at 984-2644, 119, or the nearest police station.
