Corporal Stokely Fagan named the 2017 LASCO Top Cop
Kingston, Jamaica — Stokely Fagan, Corporal of the Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA) was announced as the LASCO Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) Police Officer of the Year 2017/2018 at the annual awards luncheon today at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel.
Fagan took home the Police of the Year Trophy along with a $250,000 cash prize.
Constable Hilette Virgo, who serves within the St James Division, was named first runner-up and awarded $200,000 while Constable Michael Hutchinson of the Mobile Reserve Division took the second runner-up spot and received $100,000.
Corporal Fagan who has over six years of service with the JCF actually began his career in Communication and Customer Service companies such as Accent Marketing Jamaica Limited and Claro Jamaica Limited.
In 2010 he entered the National Police College of Jamaica where he graduated and received the commendation of “best leadership”. He is also a Kingston College Old Boy and holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science with honours.
