The DCS, in a release today said the shooting incident was reported to the Denham Town police who are investigating.
It was reported that about 7:50 pm on Tuesday, the windshield of the bus was damaged along Hannah Street during gunfire.
“None of the three members of staff in the vehicle at the time of the incident was injured. Two of them who turned up for work received counselling,” DCS disclosed.
The DCS said that it is concerned about the welfare of the staff, as well as the inmates and children who are within its care and custody and is relieved that there were no injuries resulting from the incident.
