Jamaica Yellow Pages releases phone app

JAMAICA Yellow Pages (JYP) has released a new mobile application, which is currently available for free download at the Apple App Store and Android Marketplace.

They say customers will now have fast and easy access to the most complete directory in Jamaica.

 "Jamaica Yellow Pages has always provided our customers and end users with innovative business solutions and multiple platforms to find and discover what Jamaica has to offer using our Directory Services and jamaicayp.com. Our new mobile app will now give our users a unique experience to discover everything they need on the go", said Cecelia Bell, Marketing Manager at Global Directories.

The JYP mobile app boasts features such as, search by Text Entry or Voice Recognition and also allows users to sort results by relevance, distance, or alphabetical, Easy click-to-call dialing, list and map views among others.

"We will also be releasing a new mobile application exclusively for blackberry at a later date which will allow our users to find it fast in the Jamaica Yellow Pages regardless of their mobile platform," said Bell.

Jamaica Yellow Pages is a part of the regional company Global Directories, which publishes 15 telephone directories across the region. Global Directories is responsible for publishing and printing telephone directories across the region on LIME's behalf.
