Judge orders that Tesha Miller should be released or charged
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Parish Judge Vaughn Smith has ordered the police to either charge reputed Klansman don Tesha Miller or release him by 4:00 pm today.
The order was made following a habeas corpus application by Attorney Able Don Foote in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court this morning.
Miller, who has been in custody since his deportation from The Bahamas, was on Tuesday fined $100 for making a false declaration to Jamaican immigration officials.
He was sentenced in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court after pleading guilty to one count of making a false declaration in which the court heard that he made a false declaration to immigration officials at the Norman Manley International Airport on April 4, by signing his name as “Marlon W” on a document on which he acknowledged that his name was Tesha Miller.
He remains in custody as the police said they still have an interest in him.
