KSAC approves building of entertainment centre near National Arena
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Building and Town Planning Committee of the Kingston and St Andrew Corporation (KSAC) on Wednesday gave permission for a single-storey entertainment centre to be erected near the National Arena.
The entertainment centre totalling 943.31 square metres, will have an open tent area for congregating as well as a wedding display rental and other supporting spaces.
The approval states that construction of the entertainment centre, which has already started, must be completed within two years.
The KSAC building approval for the centre confines the construction work time to the hours of 7:30 am to 6:00 pm on the weekdays and on Saturdays.
No construction work on the entertainment centre is permitted on Sundays and on public holidays.
“Any work to be done outside of this period shall require the permission of the KSAC,” the approval condition stated.
