Man at Manchester shop shot dead after gunman orders beer
MANCHESTER, Jamaica — A 45-year-old man was yesterday afternoon shot dead in Manchester.
He has been identified as Ainsworth Green, otherwise called ‘Bady’, of a Clarendon address.
Police reports are that about 2:30 pm, Green was standing in front of a house on DeCarteret Road, where a shop is being operated, when a man came up and ordered a beer.
The man allegedly fired a shot in the back of his head before leaving the scene.
The police say a motive for the killing has not yet been determined.
