Man wanted for murder in UK extradited
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaican, Loandre Palmer, has been extradited to the United Kingdom and charged with murdering a teenager in Nottingham.
The Nottinghamshire Police in the UK partnered with local law enforcers in September and offered a J$1million reward for Palmer’s capture.
He was later apprehended for his involvement in the death of 19-year-old Malakai McKenzie, who was shot outside a pub in Sherwood Nottingham in April 2012.
Another suspect in the case, Cameron Cashin, was found guilty of McKenzie’s murder in June last year and is currently serving a life sentence.
