Manchester police nab six wanted men

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Investigators from the Manchester Police Division have reported that several wanted men were captured after their names and descriptions were publicised a recent press conference held at the Mandeville Police Station.

Andrae Hepburn who was wanted for wounding with intent committed on March 17, 2013 at Brontie and Silent Hill roads, Christiana, Manchester was arrested on 30th April, 2013 at Lower Christiana, also in the parish.

Hepburn has since been charged for the offence. He has appeared before the Court and the matter has been postponed for a later date, the police say.

Jesse Thompson who was also wanted for wounding with intent committed on March 17 at Brontie and Silent Hill roads was arrested on 30th April, 2013 in Christiana. Thompson handed himself in and has since been charged for the offence. He too has appeared before the Court and the matter postponed for a later date.

Roger Broderick who was wanted for the murder of Dr Phil Chamberlain committed on July 14, 2012 at Cobblestone Plaza, Brumalia Road, Mandeville in Manchester was arrested on Saturday May 10 at 16 Dunrobin Avenue in Kingston. Broderick is awaiting interviews to be charged.

Oneil Saunders was wanted for the murder of Ricardo Morgan a 14-year-old student, and wounding with intent of Dave Smikle, 18-year-old unemployed, both of Long Coffee district Manchester. He was arrested on April 30, 2013 in Long Coffee. Saunders has appeared before the Court and the matter has been postponed for a later date.

Durani Thompson wanted for the murder of Ricardo Fong a teacher of Bloomfield Street, Manchester handed himself in on May 4, 2013. Thompson has since been charged for the offence. He has appeared before the Court and the matter has been postponed for a later date.

Meanwhile Dane Daley who was wanted for robbery and questioning for the gun murder of Kenneth Guthrie on March 3, 2012, was arrested on Saturday April 20, 2013 at Ritchie’s Lane, in Kingston.
