Men flee leaving 200 pounds of ganja behind
CLARENDON, Jamaica – The police are reporting the seizure of 200 pounds of ganja in Mitchells Hill, Rock River, Clarendon, yesterday.
Reports are that about 4:15 pm, officers were on patrol when they observed two men sitting under a tree. The men reportedly ran upon seeing police.
When the police searched the area they say they found several knitted bags which contained ganja weighing approximately 200 pounds.
According to the police, the ganja is estimated to be worth over J$1 million.
No one was arrested in connection with the find, the police say.
