New Zealand declare at 112-6 vs Cricket Board XI
TRELAWNY, Jamaica – New Zealand declared at 112 for six at tea on Thursday’s first day of a two-day practice match against a Jamaica Cricket Board XI at the Trelawny Multi-purpose stadium.
Tom Latham top scored with 33 for the tourists who struggled in the first session losing four wickets for 53 runs at lunch.
Luke Ronchi also made 21 as Ish Sodhi was 22 not out and Mark Craig 12 not when they closed their innings.
Left-arm pacer Gavon Brown took two wickets for 15 runs off 11 overs to lead the Jamaican bowling while Christopher Powell, Odean Brown, Crian Buchanan and West Indies Under-19 captain Ramall Lewis all took one each.
