Portmore lock-up escapee recaptured in Portland
KINGSTON, Jamaica – One of five prisoners who escaped the Greater Portmore police station lock-up yesterday was recaptured later in the night.
Lance Nicholson, of a Gregory Park, St Catherine address, was caught in Port Antonio, Portland. He was arrested for murder and robbery.
The four who remain on the run are:
1) Alvae Smith of Point Hill, St Catherine – larceny of motor vehicle
2) Shannon Campbell of 10 Marl Road, Gordon Pen Spanish Town – murder
3) Mario Duhaney of Lime Lane, Newlands, Portmore – illegal possession of firearm and;
4) Ronaldo Thompson of March Pen Road, St Catherine – illegal possession of firearm.
The police are asking people with information on the whereabouts of the other four to contact Crime Stop at 311, Kingfish at 811 or the Police Control at 199.
