Princess Margaret Hospital resumes services after fire

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The operating theatre at the Princess Margaret Hospital in St Thomas resumed offering emergency services on Thursday.Read: Fire forces postponement of surgeries at Princess Margaret Hospital

The theatre, which was closed on May 2, 2016 due to a fire, will resume elective services on Tuesday, May 17.

The board and management of the South East Regional Health Authority thanked the maintenance team who worked over the past week to complete the refurbishment of the area, which was damaged by the fire.
