The Jamaica Racehorse Owners’ Association (JROA) is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Brian George, President and CEO of Supreme Ventures Ltd. Mr. George has been pivotal in the development of Supreme Ventures Limited in Jamaica and at the time of his death was overseeing the final stages of the acquisition of Caymanas Track Limited from the Government of Jamaica.
Racehorse owners and all racing fans were hoping that under the stewardship of Mr. George there would be a rebirth of horseracing in Jamaica and his untimely death casts a shadow over horseracing and, more specifically, the immediate future of the divestment process.
We extend our most sincere condolences to his family and to his colleagues at Supreme Ventures Ltd.
