Security guards kill gunman in downtown wholesale break-in
KINGSTON, Jamaica – A team from a security company responded to a break-in at a wholesale on Haywood Street in downtown Kingston, which led to the death of a gunman.
Reports are that about 2:30 am, the security team was greeted with gunfire by four men who were attempting to rob the wholesale and an alleged shoot-out ensued.
After the shooting subsided, one man was reportedly found with gunshot wounds.
The police were summoned and the man was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The other three men escaped.
