Several areas of St Thomas impassable after heavy rains
ST THOMAS, Jamaica — The police are advising that several areas of St Thomas have been blocked after a night of heavy rains in the parish.
Hordley Crossing, Poor Man’s Corner, Albion and Port Morant at the Rubis Gas Station are impassable due to flooding, the police said.
They advised that some alternate routes to Poor Mans Corner and Albion are Norris, Woodburn and Heart Ease.
The police also urged motorists and other members of the public to avoid the listed areas and all fords as flooding has made it dangerous to attempt crossing.
