Three escape St Ann lock-up
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The police have launched a manhunt for three prisoners who escaped the Brown’s Town Police Station lock-up in Brown’s Town, St Ann on Thursday.
Reports are that about 6:55 pm, prisoners were on fatigue when four of them cut their way through a ventilation grille and made their escape.
The police managed to recapture one of the escapees identified as 30-year-old Denzil Richards of Fullerton Park, Cave Valley in the parish.
The search continues for the other fugitives, who have been identified as 28-year-old Kenrick Edwards of Discover Bay, 29-year-old Zamar Berley of St Dacres district and 21-year-old Tremaine James of Windsor Road, St Ann’s Bay – all in St Ann.
