Three suspected robbers nabbed in Lucea

HANOVER, Jamaica — Three people are now in police custody following a robbery in Hanover this morning.

Deputy Superintendent of Police assigned to the Hanover division Ainsley McCarthy said two guns were also seized by the police in relation to the incident.

Information is sketchy at this time however reports are that the men were involved in a robbery near the Lucea Police Station. The victim subsequently made a report to the police.

DSP McCarthy said based on descriptions given to the police a motor vehicle with the men was spotted and stopped by the police on Church Street in the town.

The Lucea Police are now conducting further investigations.
