Two arrested after cops find 350lbs of ganja

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police yesterday seized more than 350 pounds of ganja and arrested two men following an operation on Molynes Road in St Andrew.

Reports are that about 11:45 am, the team stopped and searched two motor vehicles and 24 carton boxes were found which contained compressed ganja.

Both drivers were taken into custody however; their identities are being withheld pending further investigations.

Arrangements are now being made for the men to be questioned in the presence of their attorney and formal charges laid.
