Two cops on murder rap granted bail
SAVANNA-LA-MAR, Westmoreland — Two constables charged with the fatal shooting three civilians, including a fireman in Shrewsbury, Westmoreland on March 15, were granted bail in the sum of $500,000 each with one or two sureties when they appeared in the Savanna-la-Mar RM court today (Thursday, August 15).
As a part of their bail condition the two accused, Kenroy Hines and Damane Campbell are to report to the police station every Saturday.
Meanwhile, Campbell has received an additional bond of $100,000 after he was also charged for allegedly threatening potential witnesses.
The cops are to return to the Savana-la-Mar Resident Magistrate Court on Thursday, September 12.
