Two more Canadians held with cocaine in MoBay
ST JAMES, Jamaica — Two Canadians were reportedly held yesterday with more than $15 million worth of cocaine at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St James.
The two, who the police have not yet identified, were reportedly stopped and searched between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm as they were about to board a flight to Toronto.
Authorities found a total of 55 packages of snacks containing cocaine and the two were arrested, the police’s Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) reported.
It is uncertain if both the Canadians were travelling together.
This is the second cocaine bust in weeks at the Sangster International Airport involving Canadians.
On Wednesday, August 31, five women from the North American country were allegedly held with liquid cocaine while attempting to board a flight.

Police said about 7:15 pm on the day in mention the five women checked in to board a flight destined to Canada when their belongings were searched and 14 bottles of liquid cocaine allegedly found in their possession.
Four were charged while the fifth woman was released.
