Woman charged with murder of man in HWT
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The woman who reportedly shot a man, killing him in the Constant Spring Arcade in Half Way Tree, St Andrew on September 28 has been charged with murder.
She is 43-year-old Carlene Spencer, a businesswoman of a Kingston 10 address.
Reports from the Half Way Tree Police are that the man, identified as 48-year-old Barrington Walton of a Westmoreland address, and Spencer, who is a licensed firearm holder, were involved in an altercation when he was shot dead.

A file was prepared and submitted to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecution who ruled that Spencer be charged with murder.
A court date will be announced later.
