Woman mowed down in front of court
KINGSTON, Jamaica — A woman was mowed down by a motorcyclist on Maxfield Avenue, in the vicinity of the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court, this afternoon.
The woman, who appears to be in her early 50s, had disembarked the bus around 5:00 pm, when she was reportedly struck trying to cross the road.
The incident triggered shock and anger in sections of the town as concerned members of the public tried to find transportation to get the injured woman to hospital.
