Three-vehicle accident at Rose Hall leaves one dead
WESTERN BUREAU — Thirty-four year-old Haresh Tomlinson of Cambridge in St James died Tuesday night from injuries he sustained in a three-vehicle accident along the Rose Hall main road on the outskirts of Montego Bay.
Tomlinson, a father of two, was employed to the upscale Ritz Carlton Rose Hall Hotel and was driving one of its Coaster buses when the accident occurred. His co-worker, Denver Cameron and the driver of an 18-wheeler freightliner truck, Mark Marshall, were also injured in the accident. All three men were taken to the nearby MoBay Hope medical facility where Tomlinson died while undergoing treatment. Cameron and Marshall were admitted in serious condition.
According to the police, both Coaster buses, which are owned by the Ritz Carlton Hotel, were heading in the direction of Montego Bay and the truck towards Falmouth.
