‘Spliffy’ gets bail

Marvin ‘Spliffy’ Dunstan a 24 year-old self-described entertainer of Red Dirt in Flankers was offered bail when he appeared in the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
The court heard that police armed with a search warrant, went to his house on Saturday and said they saw him put a lap top computer under his bed.
The police said Dunstan gave them conflicting reports when questioned about how he came to be in possession of the laptop.
It was heard that he first told them that a friend had given it to him then said he was fixing it for a friend.
He was offered bail in the sum of $30,000 with a surety and is to report to the Coral Gardens police station on Thursdays.
The charges will be heard in Night Court on March 2.
