Teen among top 10 most wanted by police
SAVANNA-LA-MAR, Westmoreland-
Sixteen-year-old Jevaughine ‘Trooper’ Irving is on the list of the 10 most wanted persons by the Westmoreland police.
According to information on the list which was released earlier this week, the youth is wanted in connection with the February 2, 2009 shooting death of 42-year-old mechanic, Rohan ‘Japanese’ Fletcher, of Darling Street, Savanna-La-Mar.
Reports are that on Monday, February 2, at about 7:50 pm, Fletcher was standing at a shop located along Darling Street, Savanna-La-Mar, when explosions were heard. Fletcher was later discovered lying on the ground in a pool of blood with gunshot wounds to his left side and shoulder. He was taken to the Savanna-la-mar Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The police surmise that Fletcher’s death stemmed from a dispute in the Darling Street community from which Irving also hails. At the time of the incident Irving was a student of the Godfrey Stewart High School in Savanna-La-Mar, Westmoreland.
In the meantime, Colin Henry, who is also known by the aliases of ‘Russian’ and ‘John Crow’ of Kew district, Lucea, Hanover, and who is also featured among the nation’s and Hanover’s most sought fugitives, is also among the 10 ‘most wanted’ by the Westmoreland police. He is wanted for murder and absconding bail.
The list is completed by the following, all of Westmoreland addresses:
