Reggae artiste, Jah Cure, delivered a tremendous performance at the Negril One Love Reggae Concert Winter Series concert held at the Negril Escape Resort last Tuesday.

The fifth show in the series, it generated quite a lot of interest and saw a multitude of reggae music lovers coming out for the event. Taking the stage at 11:00 pm, Jah Cure delivered what was arguably the performance of the series so far. In an hour-long performance which saw him belting out hits such as Father We Need Your Blessings, Woman I love, Girl a Weh Yuh Deh From When, Run Come Love Me, Behind These Prison Wall, Longing For, You’ll Never find and Call On Me, he mesmerised the hundreds of patrons who filled the venue. Even after two encores they were still screaming for more.

The show was opened by upcoming roots reggae artiste, Dubkore, who delivered a wonderful performance. Accompanied by his Pikkie Head Band, Dubkore delivered songs such as Little Love Story, Hail Madda Earth, Dream Girl and Pon Di Verandah. His high-energy set earned him two encores.

He was followed by Savanna-la-mar based deejay Gransonn who also did well. The Negril-based Garnett Silk sound alike, Anthony, was also in good form
