Supermodels strip off for LOVE magazine cover

Supermodels strip off for LOVE magazine cover

They are some of the world’s most famous clothes horses.

But Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and David Walliams’ fiancée Lara Stone have proved they look just as good without a stitch on in their latest magazine shoot.

Eight supermodels appeared naked in identical poses for the latest issue of LOVE.

The magazine has produced eight different covers — one for each model — and has even printed their individual measurements.

The biannual title, on sale from Monday next week, contains a 40-page shoot featuring the supermodels.

LOVE’s editor Katie Brand said: ‘For this issue of LOVE, we took eight women who are generally acknowledged as the most beautiful in the world, got them to show off their bodies — widely regarded as the most perfect in the world — and photographed them all in exactly the same position for the cover.

‘We did this to show how much they differed physically from one another, which is why we also printed their measurements.

‘The point is that ‘perfection’ is not fixed, timeless or transcendent. It varies, as the measurements of our cover girls show.’

The other models to appear are Natalia Vodianova, Amber Valletta, Jeneil Williams, Kristen McMenamy and Daria Werbowy.

Photographer Mert Alas said: ‘It was interesting to study them naked all in the same pose, as they are all so different, but all so powerful-looking.’

LOVE, published by Conde Nast, put 15-stone Gossip frontwoman Beth Ditto naked on the cover for its launch issue in February last year.

Avatar’s Zoe Saldana stars in another blue movie?

After playing a blue alien in Avatar and Lieutenant Uhura in the recent Star Trek movie, Zoe Saldana rarely gets to show her sexy side.

But in her latest film The Losers, Saldana shrugs off her sci-fi associations as she becomes a feisty, gun-toting undercover agent.

As the mysterious Aisha, Saldana stuns the male operatives with her impressive gun skills and stunning looks.

Watching her fire at a group of villains, her black-ops teammate Jensen (Chris Evans) says: ‘That is some bad a–s chick.’

The Losers, adapted from a graphic novel by Andy Diggle, tells the story of a group of cover-ops team for the CIA who are betrayed by their handler Max (Jason Patric) while on a search-and-destroy mission in Bolivia.

Christina Aguilera ditches ‘face-paint’ for film debut

Christina Aguilera is rarely seen without her signature red lipstick and heavy eye make-up, calling it her ‘armour’.

So it must be quite a challenge for the singer to part from her beloved war paint as she goes for the natural look in her upcoming film debut.

Spotted on the set of Burlesque in Los Angeles yesterday, Aguilera, 29, looked unrecognisable with her golden blonde wig and natural make-up. The film sees Aguilera play a small-town girl called Ali who flees home for a new life in Los Angeles.

After landing a job as a cocktail waitress in a burlesque club, she soon aspires to become one of the sexy dancers on stage.

Aguilera has always spoken openly about her love of cosmetics, believing it’s her responsibility as an entertainer to look immaculate at all times.

She said: ‘The red lips are – I don’t want to call them “armour,” but they’re the clothes of my character, and I’m in the business of entertainment.’

Cindy Crawford shows off her stunning figure at 43

It’s been 25 years — and more than 1000 front covers — since Cindy Crawford burst onto the modelling scene.

But at 43 the original supermodel has proved she’s still got the looks, and the body, which made her a superstar.

Posing in a series of black outfits, she showed off her figure in the latest edition of Harper’s Bazaar.

In a recent interview the mother of stwo admitted she was pleased with how her body had aged.

‘I think I’m holding together pretty good,’ she said.

Strike a pose: Kate Moss appears naked along with seven other models on the latest issue of LOVE magazine.
